Sofar PowerAll
All-in-one residential energy storage system with integrated hybrid inverter The SofarSolar high-voltage battery system consists of 1 to 6 BTS 5K battery modules and a single-phase ESI 3...6K-S1 hybrid inverter. Up to six units can be connected in parallel, allowing for a configuration of up to 36 kW and 180 kWh.
Smart energy management
The battery modules are equipped with an integrated battery management system and a power control unit. The SOFAR PowerALL can intelligently adjust the battery’s output voltage and current based on its state of charge. This increases the available energy capacity.
Modular
The battery capacity can be easily expanded thanks to the system’s modular and stackable design. With plug-and-play cables, installation is both quick and user-friendly.
Safety
The LiFePO4 battery modules are equipped with CATL battery cells. In addition, there are multiple active and passive protection functions, provided by the BMS, the power control unit and the inverter. Fuses are installed on the battery side.
Generate, store and consume your solar energy
The Sofar Solar ESI 6K-S1 hybrid inverter is designed for homes of 120 to 200 m² and high-consumption households wishing to maximise their solar self-consumption. With a rated power of 6 kW, it can simultaneously power a heat pump, a washing machine, a water heater and the lighting in a standard home — whilst intelligently managing your storage battery.
What this inverter actually does
The Sofar ESI 6K-S1 performs three functions continuously:
It converts the energy from your solar panels (direct current) into electricity that can be used in your home (230 V AC), with a maximum efficiency of 97.7%.
It stores surplus energy in a Sofar BTS high-voltage battery for use in the evening, at night or during a power cut.
Itautomaticallyswitches to the battery in the event of a mains power cut, without any noticeable interruption, with a peak power of up to 9,000 VA for 10 seconds to start up your most power-hungry appliances.
With a typical installation of 6 to 9 solar panels (6 to 9 kWp) and a 10 kWh battery, you can achieve 60 to 80% self-consumption depending on your consumption profile, representing an estimated saving of between €900 and €1,400 per year on your electricity bill.

High-voltage battery: a modern and scalable architecture
The Sofar ESI 6K-S1 operates with the Sofar BTS5K high-voltage battery system (400 V), a newer and more efficient architecture than traditional low-voltage systems (48 V). Here’s what this means for you in practical terms:
Better efficiency: high voltage reduces losses during conversion — more usable energy
Simplified cabling: lower currents allow for thinner cables and a less expensive installation
Total modularity: start with 1 BTS 5K module (5.12 kWh) and add up to 6 modules over time to reach 30 kWh of storage — without changing the inverter
CATL LiFePO4 cells: among the safest and most durable battery technologies on the market, with integrated BMS and active and passive protection
Parallel function: connect two ESI 6K-S1 units in a master/slave configuration to achieve 12 kW of total power — without adding a complex electrical panel
AC Coupling: integrate an existing grid-connected inverter into your system to charge the Sofar battery without replacing everything
OTA updates: remote software updates, without the need for physical intervention on the device
Installation: what you need to know before buying
Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician. A few important points to check:
Your main circuit breaker must be rated for 6 kW single-phase power (generally 40 A minimum)
In France: single-phase feed-in power may be limited to 6 kVA under certain ENEDIS contracts — this model is at the upper limit for single-phase systems; please check this against your region and contract
Set-up is carried out viathe built-in screen or the SolarMan Smart app (iOS & Android), with an intuitive step-by-step interface
