The Easee Key is the essential companion for users wishing to restrict or control access to their charging point. Whether in a block of flats, a shared car park or to secure your outdoor installation, this smart key fob offers a fast and reliable authentication solution

Each Easee Key has a unique code (key number) linked to your Easee profile, located directly on the back of the tag.

You only needthe Easee Key if your charging system is set up to require authorisation. In this case, simply hold the key fob against the charger to unlock charging. It’s the ideal solution if you don’t want to rely on your smartphone’s battery.





Installation and RFID compatibility

  • Registration: Add your key to your profile by entering its unique number in the Easee app.
  • Other keys: If you wish to use another RFID card (such as your office ID badge) and it does not have a visible number, you can add it directly by scanning it on your terminal during setup via the app.

2. How do I register my new RFID key? +
It’s very simple: every Easee Key has a unique number printed on the back. Simply enter this code into your Easee app under the ‘Keys’ section to link it to your profile. Once registered, the key is immediately ready to use.
3. Can I use other RFID badges with my Easee terminal? +
Yes, the Easee system is open. You can use your work access badge or other RFID/NFC-compatible cards. If the card does not have a visible number, you can add it directly by scanning it on your terminal during setup via the mobile app.
4. Is it possible to track each user’s usage? +
