Preconfigured for residential systems up to 60 micro-inverters, each modem allows two-way communication, allowing remote updates of the software.

The Envoy connects to the modem using a USB cable. The USB cable also has the function of powering the modem.

Enphase Mobile Connect™ is a modem package that connects to the Send Enphase™ and makes on-site Internet connection redundant to monitor an Enphase micro-inverter system. Integrating a Mobile Connect modem into an Enphase system gives more installation flexibility and allows reliable, independent monitoring of on-site Internet service.

Pairing the Envoy with the Mobile Connect modem provides plug-and-play connectivity with the Enlighten™ monitoring platform. The Mobile Connect package includes:

• A 3G cellular modem (MultiTech Cell 100 series MTC-H5)
• A five-year prepaid data plan
• An industrial-grade SIM card, pre-configured, tested and installed
• An antenna (Lair Heptaband) 1-3 dB
• Cable: USB Y to mini USB or USB to mini USB
• Mounting equipment
• Four (4) round skates, made of clear plastic or silicone, for an independent modem installation
